Coma – Over The Bridge è una colonna sonora pensata per un ipotetico film, genere drammatico, thriller con una punta di horror.

Non avendo una trama specifica ho dovuto scrivere da zero una storia che si potesse adattare alle musiche.
Immaginando una sorta di The Wall, ovvero solo musica ed immagini senza dialoghi, ho scritto una sceneggiatura per ogni singolo brano che rappresenta una scena ben precisa.
Il disco tratta il tema dell’eutanasia, del tradimento e del suicidio.

TRAMA:
I protagonisti sono una coppia di amanti ormai arrivati alla fine del loro rapporto. A seguito di un incidente stradale il protagonista entra in coma per diversi anni. Durante il coma (credendo la sua compagna morta dopo l’incidente) intraprende un viaggio costituito da sogni, cercando a tutti i costi di trovare la redenzione, assalito dai sensi di colpa per non aver portato avanti con responsabilità il rapporto sentimentale con lei. Dopo una serie di oscuri incubi deciderà di raggiungere il “Rendezvous Bridge”, luogo dove si erano conosciuti, decidendo che l’unica soluzione è quella di gettarsi dal ponte, ponendo fine alla sua vita per ricongiungersi a lei in un ipotetico Aldilà.
Il momento del suo suicidio (il sogno) coincide con quello che sta realmente accadendo (realtà).
L’ex ragazza, che lo ha da sempre assistito durante il periodo del coma, applicherà la pratica dell’eutanasia.
L’ultimo brano è una sorta di chiave di lettura del concept. Una lettera rivolta al defunto, in cui la ragazza dichiara apertamente quanto dolore le abbia inflitto in vita e nel periodo del coma.
